Monument record: MCC4591 Crepping Hall, Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne (Building)Early 14th century timber-framed aisled hall house of manorial status, within a moated enclosure (MCC7050). Two-bay hall and cross-passage. The central truss of the hall is formed by a pair of base crucks (which lack arcade braces). The building has spere posts that are octagonal with moulded capitals. Crown post roof. Tree-ring dated to AD 1301-1337.

Monument record: MCC4599 Normans (Normandy) Hall, Lane Road, Wakes Colne (Building)Mid C14 timber-framed aisled hall house, with contemporary cross wing, located at the west end of Wakes Colne Green (MCC9129). Hall with cross-passage and upper end cross wing. Wing has end jetty and half-hip with gablet (which is unusual on the front roof of a cross wing). Large panel framing with curved and straight downbraces. The central tie beam was carried massive arcade plates. Crown post roof.
