Early C19 brick house.

Bettley and Pevsner (2007, 803) record Wakes Hall as a 'Gault brick villa, built between 1825 and 1838. Three bays, with Greek Doric Porch, and a bow on w side. On the other side a later C19 three-storey tower'. The farm buildings to the north includes, 'a six-bay brick CART LODGE with Diocletian windows on the upper floor'.<1>

A heritage statement was prepared by Meville Dunbar in 2016 to inform a planning application for redevelopment.<2>
