Full Description

Early C19 brick house with later C19 extension at rear.

Note that Pete Hall is labelled as Peet Tie Hall on the County Series at 1:2500 Scale Epoch 1 Map (1874-1887), and also on Epoch 2 (1897-1904); Peet Tie Common is located c.600m to the north. The name has changed to Peet Hall on Epoch 3 (1922-23). However, the original site of Peet Hall was located c.200m to the SW, shown on the 1842 Tithe Map for West Mersea; there are references to Petehall in 1546, and in 1046 that may refer to the site.

A heritage impact appraisal was undertaken by Purcell in 2017 on the outbuildings to the west.<1>
