Full Description

A red tessellated pavement was found at a depth of nearly 5ft in the garden of East Hill House in 1951 and was covered up agin undisturbed. The position shown on Hull's plan is exact. <1>

A magnetomer and topographic survey was carried out in the grounds of East Hill House. A negative linear anomoly running N-S is possibly a street, revetment, or terrace.<2>
