Part of an inhumation was encountered., during construction work.

Description

The inhumation During the excavation of four foundation pits for an organ gallery, part of an inhumation was encountered.was aligned East to west, head to the west. The inhumation appeared to pre date the 13th-century west wall of the nave. Archaeological deposits 0.6m deep and three other features of indeterminate date were encountered. The bones were left in situ.
