Full Description

1928-29 excavation season; the dry summer revealed signs on the surface that led to investigation against the fence on the W side of the meadow. Remains of walls were found at a depth of 2ft. Later trenching exposed remains of several walls and plain red tessellated floors all in a fragmentary condition. The walls generally comprised foundation layers of mortar only. The largest pavement was 19ft by 6.75ft. <1>
