Full Description

A Roman pottery kiln first uncovered in 1955 <1> and finally excavated in 1959. The kiln revealed a complicated series of phases closely tied into an adjacent kiln (MCC1432/Kiln 31) and an earlier kiln (31a) with which it shared a common floor.<2>
