Monument record: MCC3068 Knights Manor, East Lane, Dedham (Building)Knights Manor adjoins open countryside on the northern side of East Lane, approximately 1km south-east of Dedham village. The house is listed at grade II*, apparently in the mistaken belief that its picturesque external appearance, with tripartite leaded-light windows and exposed timber framing, survives largely intact from the 16th century. The building dates from c.1620 and its present appearance is the product of an extensive Mock Tudor restoration in the 1930s.
