Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street in 1981-2 & 1984-5 (ECC337), traces of an east-west military street were excavated which lay to the east of the via principalis (MCC760), west of a north-south military street (MCC781) and between two military buildings (MCC776 and MCC778). The street was represented by an area of gravel metalling.<1>
