Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street in 1981-2 & 1984-5 (ECC337), an E to W military street was discovered which lay to the west of the via principalis (MCC760), and between two Barrack Blocks (MCC755 and MCC756). The gravel metalling of the street could not be excavated but was cut by an east-west timber drain (MCC765) and an east-west slot.<1>
