Full Description
The area was fieldwalked at intervals between December 1991 and February 1992. The conditions for observation of surface finds were good with the exception of two grassed areas. Sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the western part of the survey area, with an increased incidence in fields adjoining the western boundary of the existing pit. There were not enough sherds to identify a specific occupation site.<1>
Site Assessment: More fieldwalking needed on Plot C and Plot D.
