Full Description

Early C16 gatehouse and wings of an uncompleted great house, for Henry, First Lord Marney (d. 1523). He became a Privy Councillor of Henry VII and Henry VIII, Captain of the King's Bodyguard, Sheriff of Essex, and finally Kepper of the Privy Seal.
