Full Description

During the excavations at the Middleborough Site in 1979 (ECC335), a timber-lined drain F992 was located to the south of MCC365 (CAT Building 67) and to the east of MCC366 (CAT Building 68). The drain ran in a SW to NE direction and was early in the sequence of the site because it had been sealed by a substantial gravel-and-mortar layer which may have been the yard of MCC365.<1>
