Full Description

During the Middleborough excavations in 1979 (ECC335), a small part of a building (CAT Building 68) was recovered to the south of MCC365 (CAT Building 67). Remains consisted of part of a slot for a ground-plate and a small area of daub floor. To the east, part of an underground timber-line drain was recovered (F992 = MCC393) which had been sealed by the gravel-and-mortar layer between MCC365 and this building. The building appears to have been demolished before the second phase of MCC365.<1>
