Description

An examination was carried out of a bank, with ditch either side, running west towards the Triple dyke from the south end of Bluebottle grove.<1> Hull sectioned Prettygate Dyke at the beginning of its ENE course, disclosing the structure of the rampart and a filled-in ditch on either side of it. Hull's trenches were extended to include Shrub End Dyke.<2> See fig 15 B in Hull's notes.<3>
