Description

A.F. Hall undertook various investigations of fields 1266 and 1266a (see ECC946, ECC948) including the excavation of several trenches on the site of a long oval hollow 100 ft. wide and at least 250 ft. long.<1> A plan in Hull's notes shows the location of the trenches.<2><3>
