WORMINGFORD CHURCH ROAD 1. 5214 (west side) Church of Saint Andrew TL 93 SW 2/24 7.4.65 I 2. Parish Church of Normans origins with west tower, nave and lower chancel and south porch; all of coursed rubble with red brick quoins. Roofs ridged and gabled pegtiled. Tower has north lancets and bell openings with tuber mid-wall insets and stone sills , some may be original. The nave retains traces of one east lancet of red brick at south-west, most windows of C14 with ogee reticulated tracery, North aisle has north-west quoin of Roman brick with long-and-short masonry above. Roofs Victorian. North aisle roof incorporates early timbers. (RCHM 1).
