Description

During 1977 No's 2 and 3 Trinity Street were extensively renovated during conversion for use as a public house (The Cups). During excavation of the foundations of No. 1 Trinity Street in the following year (ECC372), the standing buildings and exposed foundations were surveyed. This survey revealed five main phases of construction or major alterations between the late 16th and second quarter of the 19th centuries.<1>
