Abstract/Summary

Archaeological evaluation by trial-trenching on Area C at Colchester Garrison PFI site. 18 trenches were excavated, and a total of 136 archaeological contexts were identified. Only 17 contexts were Iron Age/ Roman, with one Mid Iron Age ditch and later Iron Age or Roman boundary ditches T he majority of the site had been disturbed by post-medieval activity. <29>
