Abstract/Summary
Archaeological evaluation by trial-trenching on Area KR at Colchester Garrison PFI site.
38 trenches were excavated. A total of 251 archaeological contexts were excavated or examined. Only two ditches were dated as Late Iron Age/ Roman.
The majority of the area had been used as barracks reflected by the majority of the activity in the area.
