Archaeological evaluation by trial-trenching at Area J1 of the Garrison Urban Village, Colchester. 17 trenches were excavated dating included Late Bronze Age/ Early Iron Age, and late Iron Age and Roman period, including robbed out walls a metalled road and inhumation and cremation burials. Also a number of ditches and post-medieval ditches.
