Photograph of spandrel from the 'Neptune' Inn, Hythe Quay, discovered during restoration.

Description

The black and white print shows a spandrel filled with traceried panels divided by moulded uprights; the spandrels of the tracery have curved foliage. The spandrel was recorded at the Neptune Inn during restoration work by Messers Saunders and Swilder of Colchester.
