Full Description

In October 1925 masses of white mortar and rubble were found under the pavement on the north side of the corner house of Queen Street and East Hill. Fragments of flue-tiles, some with red mortar adhering, and a piece of painted wall plaster in light blue, pink and yellow, have been found in the Minories Garden.<1>
