Full Description

In August 1936 a water main was cut along Culver Street from Head Street, against the sets paving the south gutter. Mr E.J. Rudsdale observed slight traces of a gravelled surface opposite the back gate of Barclay's Bank and, adjoining it on the east, another red tessellated pavement.<1>
