Full Description

In August 1936, a water main was cut along Culver Street from Head Street, against the sets paving the south gutter. The first length, to Bank Passage was unproductive. Opposite the SW corner of Bank Passage a red tessellated pavement was struck, which extended for 25ft eastwards.<1>
