Full Description

Red hill, cut in 1937 by the Essex Catchment Board. A bowl of white ware and the rim of a black bowl (both 4th century AD), fire bars and T-shaped supports were found along with briquetage and animal bones. There is nothing visible on aerial photographs.<1>-<7>
