Full Description

Construction of three flats. Roman mortar floor uncovered near the W boundary of the site at a depth of 5ft. To the E lay a cellar, probably C19. Workmen reported a N-S wall or foundation of flint in the SW corner of the plot belonging to No 5. A pit apparently 'filled' with oysters lay at the N end. <1>
