Full Description

Demolition of two houses and the redevelopment of the site for a 2-storey office block. The house contained cellars extending to the frontage of Northgate Street. Projecting through both of the cellar walls adjacent to the street is a length of Roman town wall. The top of the projecting masonry is c.1m below the level of Northgate Street. <1>
