Full Description

Strip trench for foundation (for new shops) dug around all 4 sides of the site. Nothing of significance observed in any of the contractors trenches apart frm possibly pre-Boudiccan daub wall, burnt in AD60/1, a burnt surface of a ?pit nearby and a foundation of flint, all at a depth of c.2m. <1>
