Full Description
Although alleged remains of Roman house under town wall E of bastion 5 is documented there was a house near. A tessellated pavement and urn were found under the middle of Priory Street. Nothing further is known of them. OS 1:500 map (Col Mus) and Cutts plan. <1> <2> <3>
