Full Description

Excavation for fox holes during the invasion scare of 1940 exposed the corner of an interior tower standing approximately in the centre of the curve of the NE angle. It appears to have been of exactly the same nature as 13117. It has not been excavated - "we feel justified in supposing there would be a similar tower at each angle". <1> <2> <3>
