A manuscript note by Laver, 1909, records the discovery of a tessellated pavement at the entrance to Crispin Court, at the SW angle of this court and North Hill - "this should refer to no.11 North Hill". "Another note records that in 1909 a tessellated pavement was visible in the side of a small excavation just inside the entrance to Crispin Court and at the back of no.11 North Hill. <1> <2>
