Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street between 1981-2 and 1984-5, a timber-lined drain was discovered cutting across an east-west footway on the south side of the street (MCC733). This drained from the north-west corner of a building (MCC793) towards the street. It was succeeded by another timber-lined drain (MCC796).<1>
