Full Description
Roman footway, east side of Insula 36. A public walkway adjacent to the street. Part of the footway wall at Roman CAT Building 23 at Lion Walk seems to have been built at the same time as the corresponding CAT Building 23 street frontage, suggesting some degree of private control over the public footways.<1>
