Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street between 1981-2 and 1984-5, a north-south timber drain was discovered running across an east -west footway of the pre-Boudican Colonia (MCC789). At its south end it linked up with an east-west drain running alongside a street (MCC733). The drain's timber survived in situ.<1>
