Full Description

Western tower built largely of Roman bricks. <1> <2> <4> <5> Church walls are flint rubble and septaria with courses of Roman brick. The tower has much more Roman brick and dressings of Roman brick. The west doorway is entirely of Roman brick. Photos of tower in RCHM. <3> The church overlies a minor street junction on the Roman grid. <6>
