Full Description
An east-west running street between Insula 20 and Insula 12. The street had been re-surfaced at leat nine times leading to a build up of four feet. The earliest road had a well-cobbled and cambered surface. Throughout most of the streets life, an earth-cut drainage gully ran along the northern edge of the street. The gully was silted up and had a small masonry wall built over it (MCC77). Beneath the street was an earlier deposit of layers of laid turf (MCC79). To the south was a large building (MCC80).<1>
