Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street between 1981-2 & 1984-5, an early Roman oven or furnace was discovered (CAT AF237) which together with other ovens (MCC750 and MCC752) and features (MCC773) represented activity during the construction phase of the Legionary Fortress (MCC477).<1>
