Full Description

Sherds of post medieval pottery recovered from spoil from the moat 1984-5. A horizontal handle of local fabric, date uncertain C17-C19. Victorian kitchenware cider flagon, storage vessels, C18-C19. Tile fragments and a waster from either a pottery or brick kiln which was subject to intense heat and vitrified, probably post medieval. Metal object, probably part of a ploughshare. <1> <2> in <1>
