Full Description

Anglo-Saxon Hut excavated at Lion Walk 1971-4, thought to be 6th or 7th century. Pottery recovered included a proportion of grass-tempered sherds and consisted in the main of black, well burnished, often rather fine wares. See report for structural details.<1><2>
