Full Description

Finds from Anglo-Saxon Hut1, Lion Walk: a fragment of double-sided bone comb, a fragment of an annular loom weight, a spindle whorl, and 20 sherds of mostly grass-tempered pottery.
Finds from Anglo-Saxon Hut2 , Lion Walk: The pottery contained a low proportion of grass-tempered sherds and consisted in the main of black, well burnished, often rather fine wares.
Also Anglo-Saxon sherds from features RF11 & RF11 (Site R). Finds from Lion Walk Site include sherds of Thetford Ware.<1>
