Full Description

Early reference to Eld Lane (possibly included Sir Isaac's Walk) in 1340.<1><2>

Eld lane was sectioned during the excavations at Lion Walk between 1971-4, the earliest metalling was probably gravel but no clue was obtained about its date.<3>
