Full Description

Cropmarks centred on above NGR: double-ditched trackway, very broad; about 12 ring ditches, at least two with double rings and one with diagonal parallel ditches bisecting it. <1> Cropmarks list noted on a Crawford photo, later noted on photos taken by McMaster. A ring ditch at TL 91253308 was partly excavated in 1971 (see 9190). Crawford photo now lost. <2> <3> Ap refs. <4> - <13> Two ground level photos in SMR also. <11> Map of this and adjacent cropmarks in SMR. <114> Indeterminate feature could be a cursus, though other possible cursus close by might suggest this is unlikely. This source has map of cropmarks in the area. <15>
