Full Description

Worked flints: glossy dark to light grey, 4 slightly patinated: Neolithic to Bronze Age. 5 flakes, 1 sharpening flake. One scraper with concave cutting edge; one piercer/borer formed with adjacent double notches. Drawings of scraper and piercer/borer in SMR. Finds to go to Colchester Museum. See 9178 for nearby cropmarks and barrow site. <1> <2> <3> Finds were recovered from a footpath crossing a cropmark complex (see 9178). <4>
