Full Description
Site of wind mill. Recently cleared of shrubs and trees covering the site. Dark soil, large hand-made bricks, tile, flints exposed. Situated close to sites TL 81-87, and 106 (8350, 8378).<1> Sketch plan on back SMR sheet.<2> Placename evidence for wind mill here in C16 (see 8450).
Site Assessment = Shrubs and trees heaped for burning. Area has been `taken' into an existing, neighbouring field and will obviously be used for arable land.<1>
