Full Description
222 Iron Age coins, 344 Roman coins, a major corpus of Iron Age and Roman Pottery, extensive remains of Iron Age and Roman metalworking, Iron Age coin minting, manufacture of Roman military equipment. Please refer to the excavation report.<1> Also a small piece of the cutting-end of a Bronze Age axe was found during the excavations in 1934, on the top of the hill south of the farm.<2><3> Bronze Age pottery and Early Pre-Roman Iron Age Pottery is also recorded from the site.<1>
