Full Description

Brick and rubble wall situated beneath pavement in front of junction between No's 132 and 133 High Street. The wall was 2 feet 6 inches thick and built of bricks and large slabs of septaria, some 18 inches long with those on the outside squared off.<1> This was originally though to be Roman but is now considered to be medieval in date.<2>
