Full Description

An archaeological watching brief was carried out in 2002 during the digging of new creeks and the breaching of the sea wall at Abbotts Hall Farm, Great Wigborough. One previously unrecorded red hill, of possible Iron Age date, was observed. A probable medieval midden of oystershells was recorded near Salcott.<1>
