Full Description

Siege House and adjoining house. Two storeys, timber- framed and plastered, built in the late 15th or early 16th century on an L- Shaped plan. The upper storey projects on the South and West sides. The exterior is very much restored and the timber- framing is much pitted by bullet holes dating to the siege of Colchester in 1648. <1>.- <3>.
