Full Description

Oct 1996: A double-ended, octagonal pillbox, bisects the sea wall at this point. It is 26ft long x 15ft wide and is constructed of concrete. The seaward three loopholes are closed and the landward loopholes are open. The earthen sea wall has been built higher since WWII, across the centre of the pillbox, and a small concrete retaining wall has been built to hold the earth.

Aug 2008: The condition of the pillbox appears not to have changed during the past 12 years.
